The new 2017 Mitsubishi ASX is a small and yet attractive SUV and there will be a new upgrade for the look as well as a little improvement on the engine. The ASX has always been known as the compact and small and yet functional family SUV and if you see the new design, you will see that it is such a beautiful and artistic ride. It may not be the strong sporty ride type but it does have its own appeal and sexy curves – seriously.
2017 Mitsubishi ASX New Sales and Market Reach
Mitsubishi claims that the new 2017 Mitsubishi ASX will be available in the Australian market with a new styling that changes the overall appeal of the family ride. The ASX may be an aging SUV but it doesn’t mean that it can’t get some of the cosmetic changes. For the new line, the ride will be coming with the so-called Dynamic Shield with its refreshed front side appearance. This Dynamic Shield design has been used in Outlander and Pajero Sport so you can be sure about the quality of the appeal and the styling.
The Dynamic Shield will somehow change the appearance of the ASX to be youthful and energetic. Tony Principe, the head of Australian marketing market, claimed that the changes are hoped to make the small SUV remain popular. Despite the new front side, the others remain the same. The rear end, the overall profile, and the interior cabin will be similar and won’t get any new upgrades, though. But be sure that it will remain appealing and somewhat elegant in its own way.
2017 Mitsubishi ASX Design
Expect some minor tweaks for the exterior design, such as the addition of antenna in the shark fin model on the upper roof area. The cabin will also experience a minor tweak with new seating cloth trim that comes with contrast red stitching, the new height adjuster, and also seat base bolstering for the improved comfort. The LS line will be getting a new shaped key fob while the higher XLS will be getting new relocated switch for the heated seating arrangement within the instrument panel. For the XLS line of the 2017 Mitsubishi ASX, functional improvement will also happen on the infotainment system where new graphics and new audio will be included for a better menu navigation. However, don’t expect this SUV to have the Android Auto or Apple CarPlay technology – which is quite a turn off for the line.
