Bad news for Europe market scene because the 2016 Audi TT coupe is coming with least power of engine. It is a 2.0 Liter TDI engine which just pumped out less than 184 horsepower. Otherwise, U.S market has a promising number of engines for standard TT. It will have an EA888 2.0 L gasoline turbo engine. Of course, the power is equal with the TT’s class at 220 horsepower with 270 ft-lb of torque. The weight of these engines makes the TT into near 3000 pound car. It reaches 62 mph just in 5.3 sec. Meanwhile, the total top speed is around 155 mph. Moreover, the six-speed automatic with dual-clutch gearbox is one and the only transmission for new TT.

Although the 2016 Audi TT coupe comes with quick engine as a coupe, the weakness is coming from the turbo lag. You can feel it slightly in speeding. However, these lags can be covered by dual-clutch gearbox properly. Therefore, you are still able to rush TT without worrying about these lags. The power steering is very good while accelerating on the road, but you can only feel it on the higher trim such as Sport trim.

The interior of the 2016 Audi TT coupe is quite similar with the other rivals like Cayman and Z4. However, Audi tricky it with the higher seat arrangement than both of these cars. Most experts believe this position decrease the buyers’ expectation of sports car. For the center stacks, Audi offers simpler cabin rather than first generation of TT. There is no center display anymore and you can feel a classy car inside the new TT. It does not mean they removed the display. Instead, the navigation systems are fully covered by the driver near the steering.
